Why was this a Crabtree catch? After finishing work late one evening in summer, I popped down to my favorite stretch of the Wensum for an hour’s surface fishing. By the time I’d arrived at the river, I only had about half an hour of light left and managed four Chub: 4lb 13, 5lb 4oz, 5lb 6oz and the largest (pictured), 5lb 9oz!
